Our attempt at a family photo- Rhone is a bit tired and very sweaty
Our amazing friend John, works as a firefighter here in Tucson. He was nice enough to give us Rhone a personal tour of his fire station. It was so amazing to see Rhone's eyes light up as we walked toward the front door. John has a way with kids and instantly Rhone felt comfortable with him. We got a tour of the station and then got to go and see the fire truck. Rhone got to sit, play and explore the inside and outside of the fire engine. He saw all the cool tools like the jaws of life, the saws, and of course the hose. John helped him slide down the fire pole, (well a couple feet down) and even let him spray the hose! He had such a great time, he didn't want to leave. He still talks about it and I'm sure this will continue for quite some time.
