Hi!  My name is Lynn.  I am married to my best friend and a mom of 2 amazing children and our adorable dog Wabash. I started blogging because it is a great way for me to write and remember these precious moments with my family.  For many it will probably be a little too much about kids but to me it's everything I hold dear to my heart.  It's my electronic diary.  In my diary, you will find our life's journey.  Family, faith, fashion, and diy projects are what I enjoy writing about.

Why I Blog:

This little space of mine all came about when I went on maternity leave with my youngest Lachlyn.  My husband was off for the summer as well.  These 3 months were full of emotion.  Partly because I had just given birth and well my hormones were out of control ... but also and more importantly it was a time where the 4 of us were together.  No responsibilities, no obligations, we simply lived life together. It was the best 3 months of my life.  

Knowing there was a chance of Lachlyn being our last kiddo, I made a point to enjoy and slow down her first year.  I wanted to remember each day.  I wanted to remember each smile, each cue, each laughter.  I wanted to remember Rhone's reactions to her, how he played with her, how he loved on her.  So I took pictures.  Lots of pictures.  

But that wasn't enough,  I needed a space all my own.  Somewhere I could document not only the pictures but the emotions that went with each picture.  I came up with this blog with the intent to keep it to myself.  I was blogging for over 6 months with no intention on sharing it with anyone.  And then, one day, my loving, supportive husband suggested to share this with the world.  Why not? It took me awhile to come on board with idea of sharing my world.  It wasn't a easy decision.  I wanted to write exactly how I felt in each moment, but was scared of peoples judgement.  I was scared to let people into my life, to know me inside, to see the world through my eyes.  

After praying and after much debate, I decided to do it.  And I am so glad I did.  I have gotten so much support from family and friends, I can't thank them enough.  I am blessed to be Rhone and Lachlyn's mama.  I shouldn't keep it to myself, they should be shared with whom ever is interested.  They are such amazing human beings that I want people to know them.  It is also a great way to share life with those who live far away - which is most of our family and friends-.  I love this space of mine.  I love being able to look back and find all the important moments in our day to day lives.  I love having a digital diary.  And I can only hope that someday, my kids will be able to look back on this site and be able to relive these special moments.  I hope they will know how much I love them, and how proud I am to be their mother.
