So we found this old record player console at our neighbor's garage sale.  Sorry there isn't very many pictures of the before state.  But this piece was record player on the right side and an old radio on the left.  On the bottom was storage for records.  It was yellow, and the paint was flaking off.  KC had to break the news to me that the record and radio player were not salvageable.  I was hoping to keep it as a music console but the wiring apparently was very dangerous and a fire hazard.  So we gutted it and sanded it down. KC built me a drawer on the right side and the rest is storage.  Painted it white, and reupholstered the door fronts and shined up the original knobs.
