November was full of Firsts

Lachlyn has sat up with much assistance until November 23rd!  She can now sit up unassisted for about 1 min. 

 

Lachlyn's 1st Thanksgiving! It was a roller coaster of a day.  It began with myself and the 2 kids.  We ate breakfast, got dressed, and played all morning.  Around 12:00 we packed up and drove to Phoenix to pick up KC from the airport.  We then headed on over to KC's moms house and enjoyed a Thanksgiving evening with family.  By the time we drove back home, we were all exhausted, but so thankful for all our blessings and especially for daddy to come back home!

 

Rhone got an early Christmas present from Grandpa & Grandma Burdett.  He absolutely loves his new Giant balance bike.  It is a great way to help toddlers practice their balance and eventually make it easier to ride a bike with pedals. He's been on it non stop now, its awesome to see how of all the toys and activities we've given him, this one has grabbed his attention the longest. I have a feeling were going to do a lot of bike rides from now on.

Lachlyn experience rice cereal on Nov. 25th for the first time.  Super exciting time around here.  She was a little confused at first, but after a couple of bits, she really started to get the hang of it.  Rhone isn't to fond of her sitting in his seat, so we ordered her very own new booster chair which should arrive any day.
