San Diego
This is gonna be a long one, sorry
So we decided that as a family we needed to take a family vacation before the birth of our new blessing Lachlyn. San Diego was perfect. My wonderful Uncle Paul and Aunt Anna Marie live in La Jolla, CA is a gorgeous house in La Jolla hills. They generously let us stay there so we could save money. We left on Sat morning and drove straight there. (of course we stopped many many times so I could use the bathroom) but we got there around 2:00pm.
We settled in, and then imediatly went to the Wedding Bowl on La Jolla beach. This is where we got married almost 9 years ago!!!
We then went down to the bridge where they used to have seals...
And then finally went to play in the sand. Rhone had a blast. It was a little cold but Rhone loved exploring the sand, well up until a big wave came that I didn't see and soaked his pants to the knees :) After that it was time to go back home.
That night we went to Mission Beach and ate at Luigi's one of KC & I's favorite pizza/calzone places. We walked around and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
So Sunday... We woke up early and went to the San Diego Zoo!!!
To be honest it was a little rough at first. I think Rhone hadn't slept well so he was really tired and was very clingy to me which made it hard because I could only carry him so long. He didn't want in the stroller and he didn't want to hold anybody's hand. So we took it slow at first and let him just play for awhile until he was hungry and then animal crackers saved the day :)
One of the reasons we went to San Diego Zoo! Rhone has loved panda's since he was 6 months old.
The Bus was one of his favorites!!
Monday at Sea World
We had a blast on our little BabyMoon. Love San Diego and it was a great trip with Rhone. He is absolutely obsessed with animals and it's so much fun to see the joy and curiosity he has for all animals.
Tuesday Morning we said goodbye to Aunt Anna Marie and headed back to Tucson. Rhone thoroughly enjoyed coloring everything and watching toy story twice.
